The lodge is in a private reserve on the river banks of the majestic Pacuare River, an area gifted with tropical forests and inhabited by small indigenous communities with settlements along the forest. This is the ideal spot for those who enjoy a good mix of adventure, without leaving aside comfort and hotel luxury. Different bungalow categories offer spacious balconies and terraces with beautiful views of the rainforest and the Pacuare River. King size beds, spacious interior and exterior bathrooms, palm-thatched roofs and a warm Bali-inspired decor characterize Pacuare’s bungalows; some of these also have their own private pool. A good number of lamps are distributed throughout the bungalow to light up the space at nighttime, creating an inviting and romantic atmosphere.
The list of activities offered at the lodge is plentiful and includes among others: an exciting canopy tour and waterfall rappelling, whitewater rafting, and journeys to hidden waterfalls along the reserve’s hiking trails, horseback rides and cultural visits to local indigenous communities.
